*You don't want to put a product or service out there that is incomplete (customers or clients will view you as incompetent and word of mouth can kill your business) vs. Don't worry about having it all perfect, just do it (Having your content at 80% is good enough to make your move.)
*Offer complimentary consultations (you are missing out on reaching potential clients) vs. Don't offer complimentary services (you are de-valuing yourself.)
*You must be connected to every social media platform available to successfully build your business (gain as much exposure as you possibly can) vs. Don't spread yourself too thin by trying to do it all, or be all to everyone, just focus on a handful of social media outlets that will effectively grow your business.)
As you can see it can all be rather confusing and contradictory. Of course you have to take time, place and context into consideration. What may have been horrible advice a year ago may be exactly what you need to hear and act upon today!
Ultimately what it boils down to is YOU have to decide for yourself and for your business what is right for you to move forward, gain exposure and sell your products and services at this moment. You have to READ THE SIGNS that your mind and body are providing and follow that guidance. These are the most important signs you should be reading! These are signals or indications that you get when you think about taking action in a certain direction. Pay attention to those signals, they could be warnings or precursors to which course you should or should not take.
