Thoughts of Passion are seeds planted in us from God meant to grow within us. The seed planted within is especially chosen for us to be its vessel, knowing we are the best for that seed, providing it the exact nutrients it needs to grow, flourish and come alive. Once we have fertilized and nurtured the seeds, it is our responsibility to allow them to bloom and then to share our garden of passion with others who will benefit from its offerings and beauty.

See Only Love

Working with the angels has led me to a place of wonder, a place where I can look at something from a higher realm. My earthly mind (I have discovered) can keep me in anger, judgment, hurt and fear. My earthly mind allows ego to slide in and take over, not allowing room for love or forgiveness.

Working with the angels reminds me to see things through their eyes. Angels can only find loving solutions, there are no other options. The angels want to bring healing and harmony back into your life.
Remember, we all have our own worries and troubles that encumber our journey and can take us off the path of peace and enlightenment. 

Doreen Virtue tells us to "affirm what you desire, instead of what you fear." She also suggests you let the angels help you to "elevate your vision to a more loving vantage point." Don't let your burdens and misunderstandings weigh you down. Give them to the angels. Their wings are strong enough to carry them.

What can possibly be more elevated that seeing everything and everyone from the vantage point of love?

Don't lose sight of your "WHY"

Why are you doing what you do? What is the vision or mission statement of the organization you are working for? Why did you go into business for yourself? Why do you care? Why should others buy into what you are saying or selling?

Well, reason is, you do care. For one reason or another you chose to be doing what it is you are doing. If you keep track of your WHY, as pointed out so brilliantly by Ken Mueller in this article "It’s Not About Blogging, Social Media, or Any of That Other Stuff."

Ken states that by focusing on your WHY "You will be more successful in connecting with your intended audience" and I couldn't agree more!

I can help you with your WHY, your Mission Statement, or Purpose Statement. Understanding what your motives are is crucial to your success or failure. Getting clear and concise as to why you are doing something is key in helping you achieve your goals!

Reframing

I recently took a hard look at my issues with food and being overweight. But I sat down and asked myself this question “what is working and what is not?” and I reviewed it. Well, it was pretty obvious right off the bat what WAS working, and that was NOTHING! Since I wasn’t seeing consistent progress. REAL progress. Hell, ANY progress! 
 
So then I asked “Ok, what is NOT working” with the presence of mind of my THOUGHTS and ONLY my thoughts. Not the things I would LIKE to be telling myself, but what am I honestly saying to myself in my head? If our success is determined by our actions and our actions are determined by our thoughts, then in order to see a different outcome, I need to take a serious look at my thoughts. (A.K.A, my excuses)
 
Here is what I have been telling myself

I can control my snacking (I like to use this one when I am grocery shopping)
I can have snacks in the house for when I have that “need” for something sweet or crunchy
I deserve to have something for those times when I feel I need something
I hate working out
I need to drink more water
It’s ok to treat myself to some fast food every once in a while as long as my 2 other meals for the day are healthy
I don’t need to track my calories or workouts
 
Here are the reality of those thoughts and how I reframed them

I can control my snacking (I like to use this one when I am grocery shopping)
I have proven to myself over and over and over that I can NOT control my snacking
If it stays at the store I can’t eat it. Snacking keeps me from my goal of having a healthy body
I can have snacks in the house for when I have that “need” for something sweet or crunchy
I cannot have snacks in the house. I self-sabotage when I do
My snacks consist of fresh fruit, veggies, dried fruit and some cheese
I deserve to have something for those times when I feel I need something
When I FEEL I need something I have been suppressing that feeling with food
Feel the feeling that is going on. Remember your goal of a healthy body and how you can honor your promise to yourself What I deserve is to love myself
I hate working out
Then quit calling it working out. And do you really? Because every time you finish a work out you tell yourself GOOD GIRL and you FEEL so much better!
I love dancing, walking, bike riding, window shopping while I am mall walking (and many other activities I have made a list of)
I need to drink more water I just have such a hard time getting it all down
The reality here is I do need to drink more water
Water is a precious gift to my body to help keep me hydrated and feeling full, helping me reach my goal sooner
It’s ok to treat myself to some fast food every once in a while as long as my 2 other meals for the day are healthy
By treating myself to some occasional fast food, I quickly un-do any progress I made for an entire week
Fast food is not a treat. It is slowly killing you
I don’t need to track my calories or workouts 
I have proven that tracking works
I can’t change what I don’t know. How will I know what is or is not working if I don’t track it all? Track EVERYTHING until it becomes HABIT
 
It’s all about reframing your excuses. After all, what do we always say…how’s that working for you? Put your powerful thoughts in a context that works for you instead of against you! And who knows? Once I reach and maintain my health goals, I may actually be able to go back and use my original list of excuses, only they would become true statements for me at that point!

How do you face a Challenge?

Do you sit back and analyze it first and then jump in and tackle it? Do you gather up a team and start a brainstorming session? Do you dive right in and
start problem solving? Do you go it alone? Do you ask for help? Do you tear it
apart to see if it can be put back together?

As long as you said YES to any of the above, you will be sure to conquer the challenges you come up against in life. Do you want to know how I know that? Because all of the options listed above clearly shows you FACE your challenges; you don't run from them.


 Finding solutions to your challenges, whether on your own or with the assistance from others, is the name of the game.

Think back to a time in your life when you were faced with something so overwhelmingly daunting that you just tossed your hands in the air and gave up. How did that make you feel? Did you experience feelings of regret, failure, self-loathing? Now, think of a time when you were persistent in your actions and were determined to achieve your goal; you were unwilling to settle for anything less than success! Compare the two different feelings you experienced. The difference is because YOU made the decision to face a challenge.

FACE your challenges. It can be the most empowering action towards freedom you will ever take!
