Before absorbing what the little voice inside your head is telling you, stop and check where the voice is coming from. Is the voice critical, judging, bullying, hateful or insulting? Chances are the voice belongs to someone from your past, maybe even your childhood. A critical parent? Judgmental nasty teacher? A domineering impossible-to-please boss? Maybe the voice is from that last nasty break up you had.
Those voices are just words, they are not your inner knowing.
The inner voice that belongs to you can sometimes be drowned out by the loud noises from negative people from our past. But if you pay attention to the message it is trying to convey, your inner voice, your true voice, your inner wisdom is one that is uplifting and loving. Any negative messages need to be hushed, so learn to override them with love, gentleness and wisdom.
Listen to and trust your inner wisdom.
